Chenango Recreational Fall Soccer League

The Chenango Fall Recreational Soccer League is a county wide soccer program taking place from late August through the end of October.  Each community is responsible for registering their students and soliciting coaches.   Communities participating are:  Norwich, Oxford, Unadilla Valley, Gilbertsville, Bainbridge, Sidney, Greene, Otselic Valley and Sherburne.

Teams will play against the same aged teams from neighboring communities with an expectation equal games will be played at home and away.   All teams will practice in their hometowns during the season.

Practices will begin in late august with games beginning after Labor Day.  

Outdoor Soccer

Outdoor soccer program provides instruction in the basic fundamentals of soccer such as; passing, kicking, trapping, throw-ins, positions, teamwork, sportsmanship and the importance of having fun.   

Practice is held once a week with no scheduled games.    There will be scrimmages.    

Targeted age groups are 3-4 years old  and 5-6 years old.    

Registration begins in late August with practices beginning mid-September.    

Pee Wee Indoor Soccer (Ages 3-5)

A fun introduction to the Sport of Indoor Soccer  through interactive drills that teach dribbling, passing, shooting.  45-minutes to 1 hour on Sunday afternoons.  Two sessions offered:  Noon to 1p.m. and 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. depending on number of participants.  This season will last for 6 weeks.

Youth Indoor Soccer (Grade 1-6)

This is where Outdoor Soccer starts.  A fun introduction to Outdoor Soccer through interactive drills that teach dribbling, passing, shooting, throw-ins etc.   45-minutes to 1 hour one night a week at Weiler Park or Gibson School whichever is available

Mid – September – October
